Internal Diseases Nursing faculty members and third-year Nursing Department students organized an awareness event on Monday, April 14, at Keşan Hakkı Yörük School of Health, as part of Heart Health Week from April 14-20.
With the slogan "Love Your Heart, Wear Red," awareness was raised among our students about the importance of heart diseases, which have high mortality rates both globally and in our country, as well as their risk factors.
At the event, posters emphasizing the importance of heart health were displayed at the booth. Small red heart symbols representing heart health were pinned to students' collars. The active participation of the students at the booth and the involvement of the university students helped raise awareness about the risk factors of heart diseases.
