Faculty members of Internal Diseases Nursing and Nursing Department students from Keşan Hakkı Yörük School of Health organized a meaningful awareness event.
As part of Heart Health Week from April 14-20, on Friday, April 18, Nursing Department students of Keşan Hakkı Yörük School of Health set up a booth at Keşan KİPA Mall to provide important information to the public about heart health and prevention methods. At the booth, direct contact was made with the public. Information about heart health and prevention methods was highlighted. In this context, brochures were distributed that identified the risk factors negatively affecting heart health and emphasized the importance of heart health. Small red heart symbols, representing heart health, were pinned to participants' collars.
During the event, the risk factors that negatively affect heart health, such as harmful habits, sedentary lifestyle, high cholesterol levels, hypertension, diabetes, and obesity, were explained. It was emphasized that avoiding harmful habits, maintaining a balanced diet, and engaging in physical activity are essential for protecting heart health.
